A short film character portrait of Matthew Wiebe, a pro cyclist and architect based in San Francisco. It was beautiful talking to Matthew about his training philosophy, and how he consistently rides the same routes day in and day out, each day looking for something new and different in the world around him. Where one rider might become bored with the same old climbs, Matthew finds novelty: the sun in a slightly different place, a new freshness in the air, a new cloud, different weather. How he sees the world defines how he rides and how he approaches his architecture practice. It was inspiring and something we sought to capture in the film, co-commissioned by Pas Normal Studios and Velux Windows.
